I like the fact that research is a little more expensive in that you pay a penalty of one point for every advance, because in other games I would finish all the research before the end of 64. But it may be a little to much. How about 1 pt for every 2 steps in the kind research? I would also like to see the points towards a 100. The light bulbs are kind of neat but If I have 16 research and nine of the bulbs are lite then I would expect to have oportunity to reseach end of next turn. But sometimes its 2 turns. I guess that is because you get a bulb for having 1 pt in that area. ie 91 show 9 bulbs but adding 16 wouldn't be enough to get a choice.

Choices: I would like to see more choices in the beginning if they don't require a pre req.
