Status: offline 		Get it ****in sorted, Matrix.

This is a joke.

I just spent 40 bucks on a DL game, and have tried 40+ times to DL the piece of ****.

EVERY time it will dl about 50 meg or so, and then hang up. After I keep my patience and enable the dl function after about 5 more times it resets competely, AND I HAVE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN.

No, I dont want to spend 10 more bucks and wait on a box in the mail.

Every other site I have purchased DL games from have worked flawlessly. Its not my PC, its YOUR DL SYSTEM.

Get it ****ing fixed or Ill be asking for a refund.

We do thousands of sales a yesr with little to no problem.

Here are a few tips to help you complete your download.

There may be several reasons for your download difficulties. Please check
your system for and disable any of the following:

*Firewall - These are designed to stop downloads from non-approved sites.

*Anti Virus Programs - These will try to stop or scan a download. It may
cause the download to be corrupt or damaged.

*Download Monitors - Programs such as GoZilla! Or NetZip are not compatible
with our server and will sometimes block or stop downloads .If you have
troubles downloading large files then we suggest you use a download client
like "Stardownloader" available for free from
<http://www.stardownloader.com/> www.stardownloader.com It will let you
resume disconnected or broken downloads. You can even pause and resume them
whenever you want.

*Screen Savers - In some instances, screen savers can interfere with the
download process. If you have a screen saver that is starting while you are
downloading, please disable it temporarily until your download is complete.

*Alternate Browser - Finally, try using an alternate browser, and/or
updating your browser to the newest version. Not all browsers are fully
compatible with all servers. If you are using AOL's built in browser, we
recommend using Internet Explorer or Netscape instead. For more information
on these alternate browsers or to update your browser visit:

Status: offline 		Try using a download manager like GetRight, this way even if you get disconected, you can resume where you left off. I've downloaded games > 500 MB over dial-up with no problems. Even now that I have DSL, I still use a download manger and never get corrupted downloads.

T do not think Get Right works with our system. The is why we suggest Star Downloader and its free.

Status: offline 		I just bought and downloaded CAW with no issues. Well, except one. A game download service should give much faster speeds than it does. My download kept fluctuating between 35kb/s and 85kb/s. 35kb/s is way too slow. I've had downloads as fast as 500kb/s at some sites so know the issue is not my hardware. From a game download service I expect at least 150kb/s on a cable modem.

The op's issue could be MTU settings for his modem. I used to have a crap DSL modem years ago that would fail Microsoft's updates, of course Microsoft suspected me of having a pirated version of the OS but in the end all that was needed was that I adjust the MTU settings in the registry and then the update site worked fine. Look up how to adjust MTU settings.

Status: offline 		FYI, we actually have plenty of bandwidth on our side. Slow download speeds seem to always be an issue on the customer's ISP-side or with a server between us and the customer. We've yet to max out the servers/bandwidth over here.
