Recently I have been re-reading Franz Kurowski's book PANZER ACES.
The book tells of some of the more remarkable combat adventures of six German panzer aces from 1940 till 1945.
Very interesting and informative details all the way from encounters with the "new" T 34 in 1941 to how Panthers dealt with the Soviet Stalin tank, (and even Russian Shermans from Murmansk.)
I was pleased to also read of the exploits of a Nashorn ace, and how effective they were as "fire brigade units".
Anyone interested in the exploits of the legendary Michael Wittmann will also appreciate the chapter on him.
