Runtime errors can be so many different things but what I would recommend doing first is to run a virus scan and also if you have a registery clean up program, run that as well.........

I use RegCure to keep my registry in order - works for me.

1. Name your system, Operating System and how equipped you are with PCs.

2. Download the Game File again! Immediately, usually a corrupt Download is the problem 85% of the time with these sort of things, especially with a big file from a direct download

3. Are you running the latest Audio Video Drivers?

Runtime is probably an incompatability with your Windows due to something the game doesn't like about your Windows or something is wrong with the file and it cannot do what it's supposed to do...

Did you post these questions in the tech forum also as they are programmers ;)

Kaeser, have you upgraded your video card?

go back to the Direct Download site, sign in, re-download the file...  You are still able even if you didn't purchase the extended Download feature up to a week I think.

http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry11?SP=10107&PN=1&xid=50505

this is a link to download sites help center, which you can contact to say, "Hey your file was corrupt!" Though you can re-access the Download if you follow your E-mail and the links within and use the help on this page to Download the File a 2nd time.

You need a clean download to be sure it's not your system... Also

You can get unlimited downloads by joining the members club & registering your game can't you?  You just need the serial number
