Looks like the prior standard was 48x48, and vista expanded it. But I'd stick with 48x48. Whatever you come up, keep it very basic, 48x48 isn't a lot of real estate to work with, and if it's too complicated, it just looks like a big blob. Note that Wiki just uses a big "W". KISS. quote:
