"The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers (heard from Whittmans tank)

"Bat Out Of Hell" by Meatloaf (heard from a routed GE motorcycle squad)

"Hi Ho, Hi Ho" from Walt Disney's Snow White (heard being sung by an engineer company as they fired up their flamethrowers)

"Big Iron" by Marty Robbins (heard playing from an M4 Jumbo 76)

"Fairies Wear Boots" by Black Sabbath (heard plying from a squad guarding some SS prisoners)

"Five Feet High And Rising" by Johnny Cash (Last message received from a missing LCM)

"Take This Job And Shove It" by Johnny Paycheck (heard from a retreating infantry company when 4 Sturmtigers showed up)

"Blinded By The Light" by Manfred Mann (radioed back from a P38 that just wiped out a column of friendly troops)

"I'm Walking" by Harry Connik Jr. (Sung by the crews of disabled vehicles on both sides)

"Double Vision" by Foreigner (Reply received from an AA battery that missed all 8 attacking planes)

There were a few more, but like I said, they didn't quite make the cut. :)

Aw shucks Randy.... :)

At one time, many years ago, I took a night job at Madison Square Garden as part of the changeover crew after events (take out the basketball court, setup for hockey kind of thing) and got to meet both of those fine gentlemen at a Doo Wop concert. (Also got to attend every concert at MSG for 6 years straight...free) :):)

Another fine list. I love 'em!:cool:

Since a few of you have brought up Black Sabbath, I thought I would add 2 that seem to fit.

1) "Iron Man" sung by the tank crews Blitzkrieging their way through France in May 1940 about Heinz Geuderian!

And OF Course!!!

2) "War Pigs" sung by the entire population of all the countries in Europe who had had it up to here with the last two F#^ing world wars!
