I know this is probably outgrageously simple but I've re-installed WiTP on my new computer, updated it etc etc but for some reason I cannot get the map to show with normal hexes on it ( not the detailed hexsides, I can turn that on fine ... but I cannot just get the little black hexagons to show ).

Is there a key or option for it? Failing that which map files correlate to the map with hexes? I must not have installed them properly or something.

Nemo, there's a toggle switch in preferences on the main menu for hexes shown or not. It's right above the one to turn hexside details on or off.

In the preferences panel (I believe) there should be a switch for "with hexes" or "without hexes" (or something like that - I'm at lunch at work and don't have my game handy to check).

Heh! I'm getting slower... beaten by ten seconds this time!

Brad - we'll call it a tie. I was almost going to wait for the really exciting screenshot but decided not to.

Naw, man, you beat me fair and square... I'm used to it (at home I use a dialup connection).

That does bring up an interesting point. Given the length of a PBEM game, I wonder if a WITP player has developed dementia during a game.........hey..what happened to Prince of Wales..I know I left it somewhere around here.....

I just looked up DSM IV.  I am a bit worried, I seem to possibly fall into a variety of categories. I saw this one :" " Somatization disorder " and misread it as :  "sonofa....." disorder.  Probably because I had met clients for a drink, which falls under yet another disorder .......

If insurance companies will pay for it they have a diagnosis for it.
