Yes it's a Curtiss-Wright CW-21, and a very nice picture of one Brady.

From memory, the Dutch used them in the East Indies mostly because by the time they were buying them all other fighter production in the West was spoken for and they couldn't get anything better. It was manoeverable and with a very good climb rate, but lightly armed and armoured and the Japanese handled them very roughly.
