I worked for a few days at a UPS hub near Washington, DC, and
I'd like to share with you my impressions of how UPS works.

The people who unload the trucks are overworked, and the
company expects them to unload a 50-foot trailer in 30
minutes and then go on to do that performance again, and
again, and again....

Inevitably, shortcuts get taken. MY SUPERVISOR when he
was demonstrating to me the proper method was going
like this:

down onto the conveyor belt.....pick up another thing,
SLAM it down onto the belt.....SOP for standard Amazon.com
stuff or smaller boxes was to THROW them onto the
conveyor belt.>

So, I must tell you, DO NOT SEND LETTERS WITH THE CD INSIDE!

They will get caught in UPS conveyor belts and mangled.

I saw some of this happen in my short time there.

Instead, take something like the standard AMAZON.com
box, put the Uncommon Valor CD into a Jewel case, along
with whatever MATRIX promos you want to put in, and then
FILL the entire box in bubble wrap. Expensive? Well, compared
to simpply filling a UPS airmail letter with the CD, it is,
but has a much higher percentage of getting there undamaged...

PPS - DO NOT USE SLEEVES! We pay $50 bux for a game, and
we expect a Jewel Case to come with our games, and Sleeves
inevitably get rubbed and scratch the game inside.

The game comes in a (quite solid) HARD PLASTIC DVD case (like DVD movies come in) - not a sleeve, "jewel box", or envelope.

And let me add - as a customer - I like the box very much. :)

As an ex UPS driver I can also add that undelivered or odd shapped packages were left in front of the trucks ( UPS calls them cars ) and were often run over.
