Just a couple of things I would like to see changed in DW,

1) In the design view get rid of all of the military bases except a generic Med. Starbase. If the people want to design custom bases (research, early warning, defense) they can use med. starbase as a template. Removing the majority of the base types will really reduce the noise on the design and building screens.

2) Add Fleet Controls - fleet controls will override the individual ship programs (remain at range, point blank, all weapons, etc). Due to the vast number of ships you find in the galaxy, each with their own programming it makes it really hard to make them function as a fleet.

3) Better fleet control - I really hate it when ships in my fleet drop out because they are damaged or out of fuel, etc. I would prefer that the ship be destroyed then run away, sit in limbo while I fix it, and then wait for it to rejoin the fleet.

4) The tech tree is far too limited. Most of the improvements feel like they have zero impact on the game. Also, without obvious planetary and/or population enhancement improvements whole areas feel like they are left out.

5) Raid - order a ship to seek out and destroy mine/gas stations and merchant ships just like a pirate. A great way to fight a war without having a great big fleet.

6) System Summaries - I would like to click on a system and get all of the details of that system e.g. what planets have what resources, bases, monsters, etc.

7) I would like to see if a planet has a base or not on the planet summary screen.

8) Larger sensor ranges - which include monsters icons remain until the location is scanned again to help me remember is a system is full of monsters or not.

9) Ship/base names - for the love god make player built ship/base names functional like - Escort Mark V - 001 e.g. ship type, upgrade level and build #. I would like to know what is being attacked just by looking at the name.

10) A warnings if a fleet is being attacked and not individual ships.

11) A construction screen or more detail on the expansion screen, which would allow me to check a system and show me what is in it and then task a construction ship to build at resources.

12) The ability to move pop-windows around so that I can have view multiple things at the same time.

13) Fix the bug where my construction ship get sucked into blackholes. I had 5 ships sucked in just trying to build one base. Silly

System summaries would be a great addition.

The ability to move pop-up windows is also a great idea.
