This is a rather confusing issue. I can't determine whether I have spwaw version 4.0 or 4.4. My guess would be 4.0. I haven't downloaded any upgrades only the 342mb file. It says everywere that "this is the download for spwaw 4.0", but the file name is spwaw44complete.exe. On the scenario screen it says "version 4.4", and under the controlpanels (windows) "add/remove" option, it also says v 4.4. But there are bugs in the game that these patches, according to the readme files, should fix that arent fixed in my game. If I have v 4.0, will my saved games be compitable with v 4.4? Any help appreciated!

You have 4.4. If by bugs you are referring to the PBEM replay problem, it is a known bug in 4.4.

The bugs I'm talking about are for example my reinforcements being core units, when according to the v 4.4 update they should be auxiliary.
