Well a great day was had by all whom attended the meet in Williamstown. The day was started with a few quiet ales in the Customs house Pub followed by a tour of the museum ship HMAS CASTLEMAINE. This is a Bathurst class corvette that served in the south pacific from '42 until '45. Having seen the conditions on the ship I have now an even greater respect for the men that served.

After the tour of the ship, we retired back to the pub for a meal and more beers and lots of yacking. This forum is great, but nothing beats sitting down with your mates and flapping your gums.

Unfortunately I was so engrossed in the coversation that I forgot to take any pics:mad: Ah well.

The next meet will be held at the Puckapunyal Tank Museum this November....details to follow.
