Are there any templates for painting or any 3D files out there for PC armor?

Maybe there is a tutorial out there?

I went through the OWS and K forums and don't really see anything helpful. The team (not me) has been using fragmotion for making 3D models and then converting them for PC. Mobius uses 3DMax which is what Koios used but it is too expensive for most people. The skins are dds files.

There are some mods in the PCK forum that you could look at. In the OWS forum are some doc files about modding but some may be out of date.

There is a lot of info in the PzC:Kharkov mod forum:

Nearly everything is open to modification. With FragMotion (the 3D modelling program we used to do the new models), you can import/export the .x format along with any animations. The graphics are mainly DDS format, which can be modified in Photoshop or Paint. We didn't get any templates, but the original images are fairly straightforward.

I use Paintshop pro (PSP 5.0 to be exact) for my skins. In PSP you can use their .psp format files to work with multilayer images. Once done convert it to .png files. These can be converted to .dds files using a free DDSconverter program.

Thanks guys!
Can I do anything with my AutoCAD 2012 and older programs? I did down load a few models from some free site that J2D posted a link to some place.
Was very fun moving and adding stuff to the meshes

Sweet. I have PSP X, but I have no idea how to run it. I did mess around with it once to try to paint a sim racing car. I just never had the time to finish it
