How do you take a screen shot?

hit the "print screen" (or "Prt Sc", etc.) button on your keyboard, open a graphics/image program, and select "paste" (sometimes "paste as new image"). Voila, done.

Some versions of Windows also have a useful screen capture, cropping and notation application called "The Snipping Tool". Much more convenient than the <print screen> route. Worth checking to see if you've got it.
