My first PBEM (didnt play single player longer than January) is now July 42, but I might have lost my opponent. max 2 turns/week for months is not a good sign.

Even if he continues, I have time to play another game, so I'm looking for a at least relatively (as) inexperienced (as me) opponent, who will stick with the game as long as he can.

I'm more of a history "reenactment player" myself, I hate gaming the game, and I'd have some house rules to suggest, mostly on air units.

I can do, on average, at least turn/day, with maximum 4 day interruptions unless something catastrophic happens IRL. My current PBEM is as the Japanese, and I could now give a try playing the "more forgiving to mistakes" side, but I dont mind playing the Japanese again if I know my opponent to be equally unskilled, to avoid the war end quick...

My PBEM is/was Scenario 1, and I'd be OK to play it again. Or Scen 2, or DaBabes.

The air HRs I'd prefer... Altitude cap for everything or bomber alt cap, also minimum alt for 4Es and fighters and jabos at max best alt of MVR or 2nd best. I might prefer the best alt, except P-39s gets one band forgiven. Also no night flying other than CAP and bombing city targets, only, and at min alt of 10,000.

And general rule to not game the game, and be open to discussion if anything weird is faced. I'm ready to redo turns if one ends in a disaster for the other side due to a bug or some confusion.

EDIT: fixed typos.

Fairly new player as well, with my first and only PBEM currently underway. I'd like to play a DaBabes game as Allies with the HRs you proposed. I should be able to get in one turn a day without problem (you can ask my opponent who is doing an AAR).

Okay, I'll move it to PM. Mind if I write an AAR?

EDIT: to Smeulders that.

xnavytc, jabo would be jadgbomber, or fighter bomber. MVR is maneuverability, in game.

I'll contact you should me and Smeulders not get a game going!
