In many ways, I prefer the older Tiller/Matrix Battleground series to the newer HPS series. The scenarios seem tighter and the graphics are clearer - I was going to say better, but there's not really a lot of graphics - although I do like the videos of the re-enactors in the Matrix series.

Anyway, some of you may not realize it, but there is a whole bunch of OOB and scenario mods which work just fine on the Matrix series. Just make sure you put them in the right folder. For those who want to give them a try, here is the link:
