As I have said I fully support Matrix by purchasing its games. I own all expac of DW but I have held off on Universe as I am not really into modding and the base game and all the expacs are just great.

Will we ever get a base game in native 64 bit? Currently the game is capped at 2 gigs of memory as it is a 32 bit game. I am just curious if there is any desire to move up to a 64 bit Distant Worlds?

IIRC, if your running a 64-bit OS, you should be able to address 4 gigs of memory in DW if the exe has LAA, that should provide more than enough memory
