You, where your units survive one fit, re-equip, maybe upgrade, then move on to the next fight.

I doubt it, this is an operational level game. But then you might get replacements for men and equipment. The old V4V games had replacements, can remember if that included equipment too.

There is no campaign mode wher surviving units live to fight another battle. That would be something like Close Combat or Panzer General style games. The design allows for reinforcements to come into play and there are replacement rules as well. And yes, think in terms of V for Victory games for scale and feel.

It's a shame that the W@W series option for multiple scales (have a look at Stalingrad) was not included.

Still similar to V4V AND with an editor... that would be something... if it ever gets released...
