A short, simple scenario. China has refused to dismantle a platform--"a shelter for fishermen"--near Mischief Reef, in a disputed part of the South China Sea. The Philippines has decided to dismantle it for them. It is possible that the Chinese will not appreciate the favor. It is also possible that the platform is more than it seems.

As always, I am grateful for feedback, recommendations, etc. on gameplay, how well the orders are written, how the Events work, etc. Thanks!

Played it. The platform was still up despite much pounding, but the losses were still in my favor. Good small scenario.
Small typographical error: China and Neutral are listed as playable sides.

Any other comments or suggestions for this one? Or is it ready for the Community Scenario Pack? Thanks!

You may want to decrease SAM engagement range on the platform to make it harder. Currently, I was able to make platform spend all SAMs while not losing a single aircraft by loitering just on the edge of the SAM range. Then, I sank the platform with aircraft only, no ships ever involved.

Not a problem if the aircraft can sink the platform, although I'm finding it hard to do it without losing at least some of my planes. But can your ships avoid encounters with the Chinese gunboats in the area, who should start chasing your ships once the shooting starts?

I recall I started one of my ships away from the platform at flank speed (28kts) and Chinese ships started after it but also at 28kts, so they were not able to catch up.
