i have recently been reading about the Med War - specifically Torch - and, with my interest piqued, thought I would check back here. Forgive the basic question but from what I can see, Torch, in this game, begins on the 10th and not the 8th, is that right? So if this is correct this is not really Torch (the invasion) but North Africa post the invasion and after the ceasefire and so assume there is no fighting between Vichy forces and the Allies?

Is this right or have I missed something? Thank-you.

yes, scenario starts with the Vichy forces surrendered and Allied units on the Algerian-Tunisian border.

Despite that, have to say its a hell of a fun scenario, played on challenging vs the AI I ended up cursing the adaptability of the AI and paid for a few rash exploitations of temporary opportunities.
