I am playing the Raven 21 is down scenario, I noticed that the attack helos and aircraft are day only, the only thing is I can still launch attacks against the Somali-Soviet troops approaching the crash site and its night time, is this WAD?

IIRC this info is a placeholder for future implementation, probably in conjunction with weather restrictions. As it stands day/night does affect quick turn around.

So as it stands all aircraft in the game can fly night or day and any weather even if they shouldn't be able to?

They can _fly_, but their ability to operate (sensors, weapons etc.) is still subject to day/might and weather conditions.
