Unique, but not exactly germane to our forum! But few are, including mine.

Avatars are personal and I do not "get" what yours refers to - other than those posters you can have made up with your own face on it.
I hate to tell you, but no one here will offer you $10,000 for it!

Nonetheless, I'm too old for this crap. I still haven't adapted to Cannonfodder's change. We need to put a stop to this stuff.

I fully agree. I vote that your avatar should be a simian like witpqs's.

Avatars are for people that...uh...really want to put in the effort. I'm not one of them.

I'm willing to put in the effort to come up with your avatar. Do you really want to see what it will be?

Because of your choice of user name, I could base it on this fine piece of art from Salvador Dali.

A fitting theme. Having trouble understanding what the white thing in the bottom right is. A melting bird?

I went ahead and made one for you. Let me know if it doesn't work for technical reasons (it should).

Testing. I think I have an avatar now and can now be considered part of the cool kids club.

EDIT

It didn't work.

EDIT 2

It worked!

I'm having a deep philosophical debate with myself. Should I continue to use "I shall be merciful and swift" in my avatar, or use the actual lines I was given in the TV series "I will be merciful and quick!" Worrying about this has led to a great deal of distress for me. Can I receive any guidance from this forum?

Well, I guess that's final. The aye-ayes have it. I will continue using "shall" and "swift". Never cross an aye-aye.

That could be, probably is, the best advice you newbies will ever receive. Never dot your aye-ayes.

Depends on the avatar. How about a picture of Eva Green?

Eva is too big to fit in a thumbnail.

I like it.

You should go all out and get a T-shirt for a few dollars more.

Some would prefer you use "I will be silent and swift ..."

Mine is from "Steel Panther" days.

(Matrixgames) was the newest kid on the block giving the game out for free inside a long defunct computer games magazine.

They had just learned how to work the game on non-Dos platforms.

Sold from then on for Matrixgames.
