I think having only 2 turns during a month in the summer and just one turn every two month during the winter is weird. I really wonder if should switch it to 7 days/turn and mabye even to simultaneous/parallel turns. Has anyone of you tried this and what do you think of it? Will it mess up the game balance and/or the MPP income?

Yes to both.

Every side has 17 turns/year, that`s a huge advance compared to the predecessor with 14.5 turns/year.

But in some mods the turnlength is shortened, so perhaps you could try them.

I've set my games up for simultaneous weekly turns, I much prefer it that way..thank goodness for such a good game editor. Now if only there was an option for weather to remain constant for when there are simultaneous turns I would like the game even more.
