Hello,

I am following the FPC Modding Guide 1b Maps and Map Values with QGis.pdf

I am stuck at Figure 24: of the manual where the Hex grid is a lot smaller than my map. Which

I will include with this post. Can you please tell me how to get the hex grid like the one in Figure 24.

Hi,

you seem to have created a hex grid which is a lot wider (more hexes), but the hex size looks ok (I'm counting 46 hexes horizontally across the yellow area, which is good). You can continue with this grid.

If you really want to have a smaller sized grid, please capture a screen shot of your input to the MMQGIS dialog when creating the grid.
