Episode 2 The Bison arrived first and discovered the 75mm pack howitzer in the German Movement Segment of turn #9. My reaction - as usual - was an example of coolness: "What the [unprintable], I never saw it, so it has HEAT! It's going to pierce through the Bison!" The 75mm never fired, even though it had six chances to do so: - German Movement, Turn 9 - American Defensive Fire, Turn 9 - American Fire, Turn 9 - the German Movement, Turn 10 (other German units moved in its LOS) - American Defensive Fire, Turn 10 - American Fire, Turn 10 The Germans, in the meantime, fired on the howitzer with all the available units in five fire segments: - German Advancing Fire, Turn 9 - German Defensive Fire, Turn 9 - German Fire, Turn 10 - German Advancing Fire, Turn 10 - German Defensive Fire, Turn 10 and finally, in the German Fire, Turn 10, managed to break the crew. Despite being under fire from a Bison, two Panzer IVs, five infantry squads and a couple MGs, the gunners never woke up.
