Ready for another headache?

This is a PBEM started on 1.00.06, I think. I have continously updated beta patches while playing and now I am on 1.00.07 official patch.

I have just received 6 points for my Shipyard. Are they taken into account immediately or shoud I wait next turn to use them?

Anyway that is not the problem. Looks at my Deployment queue.

Thus, we have only:
3 x Landing Ships
3 x Merchant Marine

Landing Ships costs 5 shipyard points.
Merchant Marine costs 5 shipyard points.

To conclude, right now, US is spending (3 x 5) x 2 = 30 shipyard points.

Now, take a look at my shipyard stockpile. It states 0.

Whereas, I have a total of 54 shipyard points. I was expecting to have 54 - 30 = 24 shipyard points available.
Only game where I have this problem and only for the US.

Are you not recalculating every value at the beginning of each turn to save CPU?

I don't see what the issue is. Perhaps you had ships already in the queue?

And the shipyards. Did you build that many?

I was testing and it all seems to work fine

This one is not straight forward, that is why I am puzzled.

To help me reproduce could you please answer my initial question? Is this variable based on what is in the Deployment queue? Or, is it calculated only when units are produced? I am wondering if this is not linked to the cancel button somehow.

All codes are correct.

When a unit goes on the queue it uses shipyards
When a unit comes out of the queue it UN-USES shipyards

Regardless of how it comes out.

But ok now I understand what you mean. It is taking more than it should.

I am testing this right now with the exact same configuration as you and it is calculating correctly. When was the game started? What patch?

I am quite sure it was started with 1.00.06. After I have regularly apply the beta patches but I am not sure for my opponent.
The PBEM game is still on going.

This is my only game against robbieb.

Okay my game was started with 1.00.06 but my opponent is still at 1.00.05 since then. You really need to implement this please:

It is supposed to do it automatically on the PBEM servers. I will ask.

I have experienced two players playing different versions multiple times. No fun.

It could be you both started same version so PBEM didn't stop it from going.
Then one of you updated.

I'm looking into this but I can't find the discrepancy in the data. It could be that there was something wrong in the calculations before the updates and it hasn't adjusted the shipyards. Possibly the situation was fixed in later updates and I simply forgot. I will still keep testing.
