Playing a SP game with 1.05 and noticing that the AI is still leaving HQs on the front lines. Had this happen with China and also the UK left their HQ sitting in Brittany after France fell. Can this be fixed for next patch?

I am no AI developer, but I have a suspicion that while a quick fix might be stay X hexes from an enemy unit, the ripple effect could be horrendous. It would take some play testing. You are correct though, the AI does need to guard its HQs better.

The ai needs many fixes. This is a big one. It also needs to stop garrisoning partisan hexes with armies and corps, or keeping two tank units in Italy while the allies are a hex or two away from Berlin, which has a lowly garrison in it, and many more other illogical things.
