Having set up more than my fair share of discords for various games , I am aware of the time and the work it requires to do so , especially one as in-depth as this one is planned to be.

What does this 'Discord' mean?
Is it new DLC? Is it a forum?
I looked up discord, and the word means what I would expect: disagreement.
So what is this product?

Status: offline 		It is a great Voice or Text (Users or Admin choice) or both form of communication that is instant. A modern IRC (Internet Relay Chat) , it facilitates file transfers as well as many other benefits.

Call it SKYPE for gamers , that is a good description. Here are some of the toms guide thoughts on it....

"If you play a lot of online PC games, you should take the time to familiarize yourself with Discord. Essentially Skype for gamers, this service is designed to help players communicate and coordinate via private servers that let you text and voice-chat with other people."

"Managing large groups of people is arguably where Discord shines the most. When you make a Discord server, you can also make seperate channels with different levels of access permissions for different users. This prevents popular servers from putting everyone in one giant message thread or voice-chat channel."

Personally I love the BOTS that can be used for specific games for many different reasons... again Toms guide describes them as...

If you can type and hit the enter button after that you have about 90% of it down already. Using the voice features is a little more in depth but not much . Should be nothing to it for most players , its probably harder to post a reply on these forums than to use discord. Only thing that most people need to learn is how to jump from room to room IF they need to. The rest is intuitive and everyday chat like in its function.
