Congrats on the coming release! I LOVE the classic version of SC WWI and very much look forward to a new version of the game.
My question is, which game SC:WiE or SC:WaW does SC:WWI more closely resemble in terms of scale? Like map scale, unit scale etc.

Just curious as I do not own SC:WaW yet because I prefer the European War focus of the first one and was just curious if the new WWI game will be more close in scope to World at War or War in Europe.

it's basically War in Europe map with some changes, so mainly European focus with some accompanying action in Middle East/north Africa and Atlantic.

I would find it difficult to do a "World at War" scope for WW1. WW2 had a lot more involved in the Pacific Theater with Japan fighting China and then the UK/British Commonwealth and USA as well as posing a potential threat to the USSR in the East. WW1 Central Powers didn't have a whole lot going for them out in the Pacific compared to the Axis in WW2. The scenario would have to be made very sandboxy to justify it.

Honestly that was the answer I was hoping for. I look forward to supporting the game. Like I said I loved the first WWI and a big fan of War in Europe.
