These upgrades are expensive...what advice for a noobie Axis player:
1. forget?
2. HQ's?
3. Tanks/Mechs?

Use mobility very selectively. I seldom apply it to more than 20% of my infantry units. Armor and mech get it generally. HQs would be nice but the cost is prohibitive. I think it is best used to penetrate open holes in the enemy line, but what do I know? I am a fellow noobie.

I tend to just ignore it for Germany, primarily to counteract some of my rasher tendencies. I already tend to push units in too far, getting the cut off and lost. Having even more mobility would exacerbate that.

That said, the extra mobility is fantastic even just for moving around behind the lines, pushing into zone of control, and rough terrain. I probably should utilize it more.

This might be why I win so rarely!

I use it on Tanks (and Heavy), Mechanised, and Armies. Nothing else. When the war turns against me, I don't use it on anything (only need to defend, after all).

[Edit]: Oops, and ATs if needed in attack.
