The Air War against North Vietnam: the Thanh Hoa bridge

I'm curious if CMO has any scenario about Thanh Hoa Bridge operation. Checked steam workshop and I found some good Vietnam war scenarios but couldn't find the operation against this bridge.

The first operation to bomb this bridge was 1965, but it finally was destroyed by LGBs in 1972, cost of total 871 sorties and 11 lost planes. (North Vietnam estimation was much larger than 11 planes) Harpoon 2 has a scenario about this bridge as far as I remember.

Do we have any scenario regarding this bridge? I wish to try make one but I'm only at beginning stage of learning LUA and I don't have all historical data for all those ops...

Just some friendly advice for scenario design in general but particularly with historical scenarios: just jump in and make it. Once you've got a working draft--even if it's nothing like the actual op--you can refine and fine tune as much as you like. There's nothing more daunting than a blank slate, and even more so when you've got volumes of historical data that often conflicts.

Much better to get something out and then update it as you see fit than have a project on the drawing board forever and abandon it before it gets started. To paraphrase Voltaire, perfection is the enemy of done.

"perfection is the enemy of done"
That is very good point, thanks for the advice. In fact this is one of my problem too XD. It is also good to not to be historically accurate too much too. Let me test some LUA scripts and scenario makings. Hope I can contribute to this game and community some day.
