Hi

With the new website I noticed something weird with the forum. When I press the "refresh" button it exits the forum so that I have to enter the forum yet again....very annoying and it sort of tends to keep me away from the forums. This was not a problem before and I could easily press this button to see very quickly where I could find new posts

Cheers
Dan

Good, thought I was alone there for a while.

Sure hope it is fixed soon.

Nothing wierd simply because of the top Nav bar frame. Easy "trick" is to rightclick "into" the forums frame and then click refresh on the pop up menu ;)

The whole purpose of the sticky header is that people will have quicker access to our game web sites, e-store and other services.

Please note any specials or when we open a beta testing those annoucements will only be available from the main Matrix home page.

That is all well, but isn't possible to have the small text links at the top of the root forum like it used to be?

What do you mean? That makes no sense.

You know, it makes it much easier for us since people do not ask that much where this and that can be found. You would be surprised by the ammount of emails that came in to my webmaster account ;). People asking for links that where obvious if they ever had visited the main website.

You need to get used to changes ;)

The sticky frame is so colourful, I don't want it seen on my monitor here at work

Its OK, I don't use the sticky frame. I enter the forums by the back entrance :)

I think the sticky header is a great idea and something I was going to suggest myself at some stage due to the amount of posts about not finding stores/merchandise etc.

@ Joe - You could always paste a spreadsheet covered in red arrows etc to the top of your screen :p

@ Marc - I do have one suggestion. I unfortunately one of those poor people using a 17" monitor so screen real estate is valuable to me. Perhaps the sticky masthead could be a little smaller or even better, adjustable in size by the user? Of course this would require a little programmining but hey Java tastes nice on a winter's morning.
