I am playing Green Tide again. Played it in CMANO and wanted to apply my hard fought experience to see if i had improved any.
I noticed in the OOB that there are 2 hornets at Lanzorote. In the notes it says there are 20. Is this a misprint or a deployment fault?

PS im getting my head handed to me so ive either regressed or this version is harder to win. How is it that non NATO countries have better AMRAAMs?

Regards.

It's a typo in the briefing; 462 Escuadron has 22 aircraft in the scenario. 20 are at Gran Canaria, 2 at Lanzarote. I've fixed this for the next update.

You can always change the enemy aircraft to MiG-15s if it's too hard as is :)

I would strongly suggest just not using fighters and instead relying on your SAMs.

Thanks everyone for your advice and enlightenment. My major problem seem to be the enemy ECM aircraft which seem to jam everything and reduce the engagement envelope of my AMRAAMs by about half by the time my F-18's radar burns through by which time the enemy F-16s have already launched. An interesting problem indeed. I will see if i can lure them further South and engage with SAMs to even up the odds a bit.

Cheers
