I notice a few people have had trouble with Windows 10 though I do not have a positive grip on what those issues are.

Next week I have a new computer coming and everything is going to be copied over using some special software from my existing computer running Windows 8.1. It's a professional IT company doing it. I have no issues with the game at the moment.

Is there anything I need to be aware of for Windows 10. We are not reinstalling the game we are copying over all the files and data as they stand from one computer to the other.

Any tips or advice would be welcome.

You have to install it, because game needs to be registered. It would not run otherwise.

You will probably experience horrible lag after every click, once game will run. Also, background will bleed over the map during scrolling. Both fixable with right switches for game shortcut.

Ok noted...so looks unfortunately it looks like I will be seeking more advice here. Especially for the shortcut. All sounds very horrible.

To be honest and perhaps I do not remember correctly but the last time I got a new PC we also copied everything over including the game and it worked okay. But I take your advice seriously.

On this page of the Tech Forum, go to the Stickied section and look at the two threads on Slow Performance and SeaBee Alpha. All is explained with lots of screenshots.
