Is there any kind of editor guide out there?

Been trying to use the editor, but have messed up more things I did not know how to fix, which ended up me re-installing the game just to get back the regular scenarios.

No, unfortunately we don't have one. The WitW editor manual covers a lot of the ground, but many things were added since then. There was hope at times of finding a volunteer willing to help document it, but that hasn't come to pass. Currently, Pavel is working on the editor, work that he hopes to be done with in the next month. He's improving a few things and fixing a few things that were disabled or broken over the past 6-9 months (like the ability to lock generic data in a scenario file and fixing displays that aren't properly scaling).

Will there be a way to change the hard coded moral settings to each county?

Will there or is there a way to have US and British forces fight the USSR, post May 1945?

Not sure about the "moral" settings. That would probably be outside the scope of the game.

You can change the National Ground/Air/Naval Unit Morale under the Nat/Weather tab in the editor but the changes won't stick and will default to the original settings when you reload the scenario. Hopefully this and other generic data settings changes will stay changed when the new patch Joel is referring to is released.

Thanks so much for the update on the "locking generic data" option (and other work) that Pavel looks to be finishing soon. I've been waiting for that to dive in, but it's been a sweet wait!

With Generic Data locking possible again I hope we could get a campaign analog to WitW's 4th Supreme Command at some time in the future.

That would be great if we could.

I was working on a hypothetical war between the Allies and the Soviets, Patton vs Zhukov May 1945. I got as far as the Allied laydown on the map, but had to stop because I could not get the two sides to not be on the same side, without coping every Allied OOB into the German OOB, and starting over. Now I am far from an expert on the Editor, and had some special expert help that even got me going, so what I am trying to do may be possible without reinventing the wheel, (Building / Coping Allied OOB into the German OOB).

I messed around with this idea but a simple test made stop. With the 1941 Campaign scenario loaded in the editor I placed a British and American unit with side set to Axis on Axis hexes. That worked.

I then tried the same with the side set to Soviet but placed the British and American units on Soviet hexes and the game crashed. I tried it again and the game crashed once again and then I gave up.

At this point I don't think it's possible. Generic data can't even be locked yet so attempting something as exotic as placing Western Allied units on the map may be a step too far at the moment.

I realize it cannot be done now, but I am hoping with the changes to the editor, it will be soon. Fingers Crossed!

I believe friend and enemy are hardcoded so either allies or soviet may be the enemy of germany but not both.

To change national morale, I did play around with the editor, as you can see in the attached image
