SSG has provided us with an alternative copy protection EXE file.

Customers facing problems with the current copy protection can download this file from our downloads page: http://www.matrixgames.com/support/downloads.asp

Please note:

1. This file is for the US version of the game only!
2. You need to apply the two other patches first. v. 1.10 / v.1.11
3. Make sure to read through the sticky threads in this subforum first. Those are in particular:

"Crash to Desktop (CTD)"

and

"Can't run game without the original CD in the drive"

Please make sure to try the workarounds in these threads first and only apply the alternative EXE if nothing else helps.
