Hello all Spwaw fans.
I recently downloaded the free version 5.0 but find the campaigns to be too big and thus too difficult to manage since I'm a newbie (used to PanzerGeneral..). I wonder if anyone know about smaller scenarios I can download and play to get into Spwaw. Also, I think the graphics in ver 5.0 is a little bad and difficult to 'read'. Is this better in ver 7.0? And finally; is it possible to get ver 7.0 outside USA? Thank you. Fluid

You can download all the upgrades to bring your game to v7 from anywhere in the world. (You can skip the v5.2 to v5.3) And the upgrade downloads are much faster than the full install. Go here: http://www.matrixgames.com/Games/worldatwar/downloads.asp There are many small scenarios in the game menu, you just have to find them. [ December 29, 2001: Message edited by: Warrior ]

And you can start generated campaign with points under 2000. It will give you small maps most of the time. Go to preferences and change purchasing points to this or leave them as 'XXX', wich is default. Default is about 1200. And you can play pre-made campaigns in smaller (but alot harder) by buing just small core despite of points that you have. Don't buy everything. And Marauder has done campaign that has very little core; Merderet river is name of it if I remember it right. Found at SP Arsenal site. (link can be found from matrix main page as a support site.) mosh

For smaller scenarios - try the Militarygamer site and the Sparsenal site. There were several post there the past few months..
