Hi all

In the manual it says in 1942 the optimum number of aircraft in a cv tf is 100 + rnd (100)

What does rnd stand for? or at least what does the equation mean?

I hate disorganized attacks so I would love to know.

Thanks

Rocco

100 + RND(100) =

100 + a Random number between 1 and 100

or 101 to 200

Thanks Mr. Frag

So the allies risk piecemeal attacks in 42 if they have more than one carrier in a TF.

I must break some old habits, I see.

Thanks again

Rocco

So until 1943 we really are best off having US CV TF with only *one* CV in them?

What's the optimum number by war year?
