I locked it up and somehow got the saves corrupted. I had 3 Netscape browsers, Photoshop, Paint Shop, MS Paint, WitP, the WitP E-Manual, Crusader Kings open, as well as a CDRW burning. Think I overdid it?

Looks like a classic sign of graphics programs overdose to me.

1GB of ram. Bohdi is right. I was doing some rather intense graphics work and I'm sure having two games running didn't help. At least I know my pc's limits now.
