The sound bug that causes the game to crash to desktop (rare) that was fixed in 8.1 is back in 8.2.
Has been happening when an armor unit gets hit by an AT direct fire weapon.

Will downloading the old sound files refix this? Any comments? Anyone else seen this?

I haven't noticed it. Have you tried upgrading your sound driver??

I've experienced this also. It's a pain... It seems connected to a direct AT gun hit

Yes,
My drivers are all current.
It is a rare event but it will happen.

I�ve also seen this CDT, but that was looong ago.

Can you tell what game version you play, what tanks/weapons are involved EXACTLY and what particular sound you hear? If you tell me detailed info then I can investigate!
