Are rules specific to a scenario (such as, um, "Overlord") set forth in the manual somewhere? I looked at the contents and didn't find a heading concerning what I was looking for. I'm talking about rules like "when you take x city, y occurs and you get z", or some such stuff. I think there's a special rule about taking Carentan and linking Utah and Omaha, but only via reading the AAR's.

Maybe it's all interspersed throughout the manual, but before I begin culling through it I'd like to know if I'm likely to find my answers.

Anyone know?

Captaine,

What you're asking about is not part of the rules per se. It's a situation unique to a given scenario. Normally any scenario specific conditions would be set forth in either the scenario description or one of the briefings that maybe present on specific turns. The custom battles from Run5 also usually have design notes that would address this type of special condition.

You're refering to the availability of US VII Corps units to take replacements. Section 28.4 of the manual gives you the details to see this. Utah Beach does not get a supply source that enables replacements (yellow supplied zone), only the turn 8 Omaha Beach supply source allows US replacements. Thus if you don't link the two beaches you can't get replacements for VII Corps.
