I don't think it's been brought up too much recently, so have any game testers come up with any trick plays that work correctly? I know the quick punt has been designed, but what about HB passes, reverse passes, direct snaps, or the slightly more conventional reverses or end arounds? Any of these plays can, if done right, successfully fake out a defense, which would be a big part of my strategy with my team. So I just wanted to know if anyone has been able to create any trick plays and make them work, so that I know I would be able to use them.

When it comes to football simulations, it is often more difficult to make trick plays that do not work than to make trick plays that do work. That is why AI busting is considered cheating in most leagues.

If the AI is good enough for trick plays to be used, then that would be great.

I believe I read that you can do multiple hand offs somewhere but I'm not 100% sure

Reverses, halfback passes, multiple handoff plays are all possible in MaxFb. In the I formation plays I've set up, there is a halfback pass and a WR reverse. The single wing playbook has wingback reverse as a staple play. See below the play diagram for the 28 reverse run from the single wing.

That looks good...I would like to use that play when I build my team.

Being able to diagram a play and being able to use a play in league play because it does not bust the AI are not the same thing.

How well have these type of plays been tested against the defensive AI?

So far, I've had, what I think, are realistic results with the reverse plays. The longest gain I can remember was about 17 yards.

I do agree with others. I was planning on joining any Online Sim Leagues when this game comes out and wonder if you will still need Play restriction rules like you do in many Football Pro type leagues.
