Hello,
I seem to have a problem with a teleporting Imperial Guards Division and a disappearing SNLF unit in my current PBEM.
Desert Fox and myself are playing CHS 1.06 with WITP 1.602

Is there anyone who could repair the database?

thanks

derek

Long standing bug, no solution or workaround at this time.

(You're *censored*)

dtravel,
I thought I had seen where Mr. Frag in the past was able to go into the data base and correct it?!
If he can't, then i may need to go back multiple turns and give new ground orders to the teleporting units to see if it would correct by changing the arrival times.

thanks

Except that Frag no longer shows up here. He is on the CotA board a lot I guess.

well, you all are right in that even after replaying multiple turns with order changes to all the units that were in the same hex as the involved, the Imperial Guard teleported from Chittagong to PM!
uggghhh... guess i'll wait and see if Mr. Frag can help.

Well, assuming he actually was able to do that, then the question becomes "Why hasn't that become the basis for it being fixed?"

I have some ... history ... with Frag, so I find it difficult to believe that he actually could fix a game once this bug had occurred.

Yes Mr frag could do this, I remember him helping people on several occasions. I always assumed he had an editor which could access the .wps game database and modify it directly. Not really the basis for a fix but useful for moving things back to where they should be

Ask Michealm or Mogami, if they can't help they maybe able to point you in the right direction

Everyone seems to be offline
Waiting for either Mogami or Mr. Frag to email back as to whether or not they can correct the LCU placement.

I am in WITP withdrawal

As was stated earlier, Mr.Frag doesn't frequent this forum anymore.

dtravel,
actually, I sent an email to both Frag and Mogami to see if either will respond.
Mark and I have an awesome game going so we would really like to get that division back to where it belongs in chittagong and not in PM.

thanks

Be thankful that you know where it's at right now. In my 1.6, oppo had IG Division hop on him, loaded it up to go somewhere else, and got it (and another one) derezzed in teleporter, never to be found again. Now I have the 7th and 40th ID's on permanent relocation camp guard duty for the duration to "balance" the terror of teleportation destruction.

Rumor is that he had abandoned WITP for a new, thinner girlfr.., er, war game.
