I just rounded up another first timer to play against. I was hoping someone could help point me to a good scenario to pick out that was balanced for us both and could recommend which patch to use during the game.

Any pointers regarding setting up the PBEM game or useful hints? Im really rusty and havent played against the AI for about a year or so.

Try four weeks of hell. (Scen04 iirc). Fairly balanced and also limited to the bases active historically. After on or two replays head for the grand campaign (Scen 17 or ahistorical but more balanced 19.

I use 2.41 havent had nay problem with it.
