In one game of mine I got a 100% reproduceable CTD when I try to scuttle a badly damaged ship.

If you are interested I can mail to you the save, so the code can be debugged and fixed!

Does the ship have an air group on board?

No, she's a DD...

She's the only ship of the TF (she's was left behind by the remainder of her original TF)...

Okay.
Send to michaelm75 @ hotmail.com [No spaces]

Other cases I have looked at, scuttling did not CTD on my PC.
But all those cases had an air group on board with zero planes. So thought that might have been the cause.

Unfortunately, I've seen it too, but only in one of my two current PBEM games. I put it down to synch problems...

I can see the problem.

The TF commander does not seem to have been assigned correctly when this ship split off from main body.
If you transfer the Minekaze to TF20, the captain of that ship becomes the new TF leader. If you try scuttling the Akikaze then, it should work. Did for me.

I will write up and forward to required parties. Hopefully this will also be the issue with WITP scuttle issues, now that I have a clue on what to look at.

Thanks
Michael
