Slight textual errors may have occurred, as I translated this from the Dutch translation of the original Folderol.

Oh, yes, that was the one written by M. Arglebargle or somebody else...

Hmm....I will check my research but I'm pretty sure it was Terminus I, King Of Folderol who wrote the original Book of Armaments.

M. Arglebargle is Nik's lawyer.....of course, I wouldn't be surprised if Nik's lawyer *did* claim authorship of the sacred text.

He said Terminus I was King of Folderol, not the Netherlands, and clearly stated that it was translated INTO Dutch from Folderol.

King of Folderol: i thought that description fit you quite nicely!

NOTE: editted for clarification, but Terminus quoted me before the edit was in...

Didn't Moxie, Pepsi, Frito and Spam journey through Folderol on their way to destroy Sorehead's ring?

True, true... but i don't think Harvard Lampoon (pre National Lampoon) is Dutch. Although the Dutch might have bought Harvard...

Yes.....remember, they are very wealthy due to all the oil they own. This despite losing a lot of it to the evil Admiral Tanaka-san.

"...A most horrible treasure, this Great Ring," said Frito.

"And a horrible burden for he who bears it," said Goodgulf, "for some unlucky one must carry it from Sorhed's grasp into danger and certain doom. Someone must take the ring to the Zazu Pits of Fordor, under the evil nose of the wrathful Sorhed, yet appear so unsuited to his task that he will not soon be found out."

Frito shivered in sympathy for such an unfortunate.

"Then the bearer should be a complete and utter dunce," he laughed nervously.

Goodgulf glanced at Dildo, who nodded and casually flipped a small, shining object into Frito's lap. It was a ring.

"Congratulations," said Dildo somberly. "You've just won the booby prize"... "

One of the funniest books i've read. However, i think you have to be a fan of LOTR to appreciate it.
