How about a vague hint at the 5 minute warning?

Well, here it is today's NAKED ANIMAL

THE NAKED RATTLESNAKE!!!

This is a pic of a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake (a.k.a. Crotalus atrox)

We were working in our barn and my wife (who is deathly afraid of snakes) came flying out and said she saw a snake. I devised a pole with a loop on it, and tried to catch it, when it reared up, and started unmistakeably rattling its tail.

After much perusal of various websites, i finally identified it as this rascal (it's not the one i saw, though, which was about 18" or so long (about 0.5 meters).

Well, you'll have to wait for your "prize"!

You guys waiting to make the proper guesses until the closing minutes of the contest is amazing...

BTW, for those of you who might be wondering, after it started rattling at me i backed off for a second and it managed to slither away.

My wife immediately went out and boosted the stock price of the company that makes SNAKE-AWAY(tm) - some sort of horribly smelling mixture of moth balls and sulfur.

Let's see - this could mean:

A) Japan lost because she had cats on her side.
B) Japan lost because cats were on the Allied side.
C) Japan lost the air war because her A6M pilots were cats.
D) Japan lost the air war because the F4F pilots were cats.
E) Some of the above.
F) None of the above.

the cat was suspected, but there was no statistical evidence to support the allegation. However the cat was later ancedotally PUNTed just to be on the safe side.
