Does having multiple HQs (Corps) in a hex influence combat odds?

If only one HQ is providing benefit to LCUs, how can you tell which one?

1. Corps HQ
2. Army HQ
3. Theater HQ

They all give a bonus if within command range, and if prepped for the base they will add even more.

One of each kind will add a bonus.
Checking the manual now to verify quanities.

The manual doesn't cover the situation i was thinking about...

Let's say there is SWPAC HQ at Gili Gili and SOPAC HQ at Shortlands, and the battle is taking place in Rabaul which is in range of both. Who is providing the bonus?

You could also consider situation in China, where there are multiple Corps HQs stacked.

I guess it could be the ID number, but that can cause a lot of problems.

Thats handy to know. certainly as far as china is concerned where you have enough HQ's to be able to do that. Elsewhere i think it would be problematic at best.

Yes... and that is why i'd like to have more of them together, but i'm worried about a situation where a lousy comander would be influencing a battle instead of a good one.

There are problems with prep points, too.

When I have a Chinese Army going into contact is when I check and replace weak leaders.
Until then I just leave them alone.
