I'm sure it's outstanding, but without it being in zip format it's useless to me.

Steve,
You can easily find RAR (or WINRAR, it's the same) on the net.
That's what I did.
If you can't find it I can mail it to you.

OK, I got the WinRar thing and downloaded all 7 parts. Unzipped the first and it seems to have all 77 pages, so why do I need the other 6 RAR's? (By the way, it's a very good resource from the quick glance I took.)

Hi Steve,
I am glad you got RAR.
As mentioned at the Depot, RAR allows you to split a heavy file into smaller volumes.
Funnily enough, once you have D/L'd all the files, each one will show the complete text.
If you delete one of these files the text is gone.
My suggestion: open any file and save to your hard drive or somewhere else.
Francois

I've run my trial time out with RAR and I'm not going to buy it. Could you send me the files in some other format, please? I'd like to see them.

WB, try 7-zip. It can read .rar files and it is FREE.

Here's the url:
http://www.7-zip.org/

If Fradar wants, I can upload the entire file to the Depot. It is 9 MB so I wouldn't recommend downloading it all at once with a dialup connection.

It *is* a work of art.

IBTYRONE many thanks.
It would be nice if you could do that and it would be very much appreciated.
Wild Bill, I hope you find some interesting things in the Map Dictionary. Your comments are highly welcome.

No problem Fradar. I downloaded it at work today where I have a high speed connection and zipped it into a 8mb file. I have dialup from home so no can do from here. If I can swing by work tomorrow, I'll try and get it uploaded. If not, it may be Tuesday cause I am on the road Monday.

Thanks IBTYRONE.

At home I only have dial up and it took me a while to upload the 7 files.

It's up in zip file format over at the Depot.

It's a 9mb download so I wouldn't recommend downloading it using a dialup connection unless you like to sit and wait.

Just click on the link below to download the file:

I would recommend that Tyrone. Many have high speed connections. Those that don't can go another way.I believe that Fradar's work would get a much wider audience. I personally would like that very much.

So just where does one get these files?

Just click on the hyperlink I listed above, Wild Bill. It should bring up the download dialog box. If it doesn't, let me know.

Thanks IBTYRONE for your efforts and support.

Also thanks Bill for your support.

The next step should be a scenario design dictionary but I will need contributions from all designers to make it a sort of Bible of tricks and hints.

Ive tried Fradar. I Downloaded the 7-zip program and had a hard time making it work. When it finally did, it only unzipped one file and then said the file was broken. I tried to open the one file and Word tells me the path is incorrect.

So I gave it a good shot but can't do anything with it. I'm sorry. I know this is a great piece of work but I won't be able to enjoy it. I hope others don't have this many problems.

Thanks Don. About 5 or 6 megs in size. I should be able to get it that way. I have DSL so it should not be a big problem. I have the file. The problem is I can't open it.

If you send it, do not send it in RAR but perhaps in zip or some othe format, please.

I'm going to try to get rar again and see if it will allow me some more free time.

I'll let you know.

It is also in a zip format also over at the depot. IBtirone has a link in one of the messages above to it.

I plan on giving some serous study to this to see what I might have missed in my own efforts at map building.

Yeah, I'm with WB. I haven't had a chance to sit down with it yet although I've looked at it electronically, but I will be printing out a color version of it to read at my leisure. I have a couple of mini-campaigns that I want to work on but haven't had time to sit down and do. Maybe this will give me the incentive to make the maps more historically correct.
