For the benefit of those who are new to PBEM play, and want a recommendation on a good opponent, put your suggestions here.

By "good opponent", I specifically mean those guys you have personally played against, and who have a respect for history and fair play.

Note 1: please do NOT use this thread to express any negative opinions on a previous opponent. Keep the title of the thread in mind.

Note 2: I am NOT seeking any opponents at this time. When the time comes, I'll let you guys know.

To start off, I highly recommend Afrika Korps. He is honest, tenacious, fair-minded and eager to share lessons learned when the battle has ended.

Favorite side to play as (correct me if I'm wrong, AK): Japan

I recommend KG Erwin, for the same reasons, as well as the fact that he packs a mean punch and is an excellent sport about it. If Gunny is a fair representation of the good players out there in SPWAW, then we have a mighty bunch of very cool guys and I can look forward to years of good play.
